Thanks for voting! Did you figure out who colored which one? We decided Bryan gets points for creativity with
the mustache and goatee, Jason gets originality points for having a purple SpongeBob. Jonathan gets
points for accuracy. Megan scored points for most colorful legs and for staying in the lines. My SpongeBob
was judged to be the most authentic.

The Irish live on!
This has to be Jason because their skin is green like the Incredible Hulk, yet the purple outfit makes Mr.
Smurf look like the Joker. Hmmmm..comic books=Jason
They are green Smurfys!! What else can I say!
I enjoy the colors chosen for these Smurfs. The outlining adds an additional layer of definition and shadow.
Very nicely done.
These Smurfs look a little green like they don't feel well...
Jack! I'm flying!
I really like the green Smurf, because it is different.
I like the way the sky is colored and sets off the clouds.  I also like the fact that both Smurfs are green!  I get
tired of too much blue!!!!
I like the detail in the clouds and the birds!
At first I thought Laura colored this one then I remembered she doesn't like birds.  So I figured she wouldn't
put them in her picture.  So I decided Jonathan would put them in his picture. (Wrong again!)
The picture looks a lot like the show.
Awesome!!!
These Smurfs look like they are going to get attached by birds/bats.  But I like the addition of the trees.
When looking at this image, I feel like I've stepped in a time machine.  Somehow these Smurfs have found
themselves in "Jurrasic Park" with wild pterasaurs flying overhead.
I really like the trees and birds.  Very, very blue Smurfs!!!  Good detail.
Due to the fact the Smurfs are wallowing in what I can only imagine is highly potent drug-laced mushrooms,
this must be Bryan.  Hint # 2....ever seen the movie "The Birds".....
I like the artificial turf!!
These Smurfs look blinded by the sun.  But I like the addition of the sun.
I really, really like the purple Smurfs and the sun. It looks sooo pretty.
Very nicely colored, the brown hair, finely textured grass and power sunburst gives it away.  The crayon
strokes are consistant throughout, which shows attention to detail.  The artist thinks outside the box, yet
keeps it tasteful....must be Laura  :)
I picked Laura as the artist on this one because the girl Smurf has brown hair. Just like Laura - OK, so
everyone in the family has brown hair...I really like the grass & the sunset!
I'm pretty sure this one is Laura's!
The techniques exhibited by this image are flawless.  It is amazing the texture that can be generated with a
simple crayon. The grass appears soft enough to take a nap on!
I always enjoy purple!!  Nice sunset or sunrise whichever the case may be!
From the land of epic quests, dragons, darkness and magic comes this work of art from Jonathan.  He's into
blondes, which I totally can relate to, and that fact rules out Jason as the colorer.  The overall color is vibrant
and accurate, which also points to J-Dogg.
Very well done.  Nighttime with the Smurfs!
Changing the time of day of this mass-produced image is very innovative.  The colors chosen for the Smurfs
have held true to the essence of 'Smurfism' -- making this the most authentic.
I really like the moon. Very creative to go with a nighttime scene.
Look at the moon, in 3 weeks I will be a Wearwolf!!!
I like the night sky and the moon.
I like the twist of it being night instead of day. I figured Jason did this one because he works so many nights?
A walk in the dark!
Because Megan is on one of the clouds, it must be Megan's! I like the fact that one of the Smurfs is blue and
one is purple.  Those colors look good together!
Expressive!
I love the coloration on the picture and the butterflies.
I know that's you Megan, you're the one on the left right?
Very colorful. I like the addition of Bryan and Megan's names in the clouds.
Definitely the most colorful of the bunch. It makes me wonder who Smurfette's hairstylist is.  Some would
consider pink hair a bit of a risky move, but she can pull it off!  :O)
Very colorful.  I think the girl Smurfette ate too many strawberries! I can only describe this as a LSD induced
pink explosion.  Whoever could have such a vision??  I think Megan :)  I am definatley impressed with the
flying ameoba, and what I can only guess is flying eggs (Sunny side up)

I like the pink nose , the gray and black beard, and the black rabbit. (Hannah voted for Jason as the artist)
creativity runs wild in this one.

I really, really, really like it so Bryan must have colored this one (Yeah, Christopher got it right!)

I love the beard! (Jonathan knew who colored it, so that was a freebie!)

I've never seen such an evil-looking, colorful Yosemite Sam...Nice use of black and brown on Bugs though - That
seems to be quite the style this year! (Aunt Lisa knew the correct artist!)

Bright colors and red eyes! Sam looks evil!!

Bold Colors! I like the shading on the clouds. And I like a Black Bugs Bunny. (But Jason didn't color it Grandma Karen!)

Hmmmmmm, by the uncolored sky and semi-colored grass, i'd say the artist got bored, stopped coloring, and went
looking for cookies???...... (Uncle Corey know's what's on Bryan's mind!)
Bryan wins this month's contest as the favorite with the bright blue hat, 2-toned beard and shaded clouds. We were all very impressed by Bryan's artistic
ability on this one! I have to say though, only Grandma Bette correctly guessed them all!
It looks sooooo real.

Looks very nice, i like a lot

It's not bad. (Humble comments from the artist himself)

Is he trying to moon the bunny? It doesn't look like he's wearing any pants. What color is the sky in your world anyway?
(Who knows what color the sky is in Jason's world, but this one isn't his!)

Another detailed one!

I liked the way you colored what's his name's hat. And the grass with the two shades. (Looks like Laura's, but it wasn't!)

Nice try to fool me Jayman, but of course my steel-trap mind figured this out! Why would the artist color the small rock,
but forget the sky?? hmmmmm......too much work. (Ha Ha! Uncle Corey- they did fool you!)
I really, really like the pink bunny and the blue outfit.

Looks like Mr. Sam is suffering from the blues.

Awesome!

The pink bunny is cool.

Nice combination of blue and red on Sam. Excellent choice of pink for Bugs Bunny - only a true princess could pick
this cool of a color!

The pink bunny gave it away

I love a Pink Bugs Bunny! And I like the blue outfit on What's His Name.

Does Bugs Bunny need a rainbow bumper sticker??? Somebody tell Papa Smurf to shave!
I like the dark sky and the blue bunny (but it's not Bryan's!)

Sweet!

I like the night sky.

Jon, are you nocturnal?? It seems all the coloring contests pictures you have drawn have a black background -
hence, I'm assuming this is you...or someone else is being very sneaky...Interesting color choices though! (er, try again
Aunt Lisa!)

Black sky! looks like something Jason would do.

Very creative making it look like night. With the color of the sky, the ground and the blue bunny, it could be a Alien
Landscape! (Alien landscape = vote for Bryan- good thought, but nope!)

Is Bugs blue because they're standing on the surface of Jupiter?? (perhaps, but Jonathan didn't color it!)
Only a nerd spends this much time coloring. NERD!!! (okay, this vote was from Turd Furgeson... he's just jealous!)

Love it!

It is just good.

OK, this also looks like a pants-less Sam, but since there is a sunny blue sky, it must be Laura:)

Very detailed! Could be Jonathan's work also.

I like the way you highlighted the grass and the fact that you colored the sky blue.

Colors are perfect, and the added texture colors in the grass give this one away. Plus the sky is the same color as the
last one. :) (Am I that transparent?)
Halloween - October 2007
Kudos to Aunt Kari who correctly guessed all of the pictures! Bryan wins again this month with his orange sky, which, by the way, is because the
Treetures are standing on the inside of a pumpkin. He also decided that there was a bush behind the critters, where the rest of us decided they were the
big bushy tails of the critters. It's all about persepctive, right?! Jonathan (as well as our voters!) was highly annoyed that the save-a-tree critters were
toting around a sign printed on a log.

Turkey Day! November 2007
The results are in... 11 voters this month! Four votes for Laura, 2 each for Jason, Jonathan and Megan and 1 for Bryan. Correctly guessing
the artist of all 5 turkeys were Christopher, Grandma Bette, Corey, Aunt Kari and Kelli Gardner. Congrats guys! Grandma Karen, Grandpa
Bob, Ethan, Emily, Hannah and Al also voted but mixed a few up. Laura's and Jonathan's were most often confused.
Bryan's Turkeys
Bryan

~ I like the different colors in Happy Turkey Day and I like the bold colors.
~ Good use of Multiple colors!
~ I shovel for good!
~ This picture scared the S&%! out of me!!! Apparently, it did the same for the turkey!
~ The bright colors tell me it might be Bryan.
Megan

~ All is Grey!
~ Dark meat please.
~ Similar to Dinosaurs getting stuck in tar pits, these crazy turkeys are about to become fossilized in gooey
black tar. At least they looked stoned.
~ I think Megan colored this one because there is a kitty in the corner! I think you did a really good job! I like
the bright sun shine.
~ Megan, I like your kitten - dead give away however!
Megan's Turkeys
Laura's Turkeys
Laura

~ Colorful Turkeys!
~ Thing 1 or Thing 2 do you know what I mean?
~ I like the soft blue sky, the green grass and the variegated colors on the turkey feathers.
~ I have no idea why!! It could be Jonathan's too.
~ Nice Gradient work on the letters, not to mention 3D shading on the clouds. However, I'm not sure
whether to cook the turkey or melt them into fondue? Mmmmmm!
Jonathan

~ Again I have no reason for this choice. After one stares at the pictures it makes it hard to choose!!!
~ Only a few colors used.
~ Whoooaaa dude, sunside up man.
~ This is what happens to turkeys when get Lyme disease and hyperthyroidism. Sad really......
~ I think that it's easy to tell which is the boy turkey and which is the girl turkey. Good job with the tail
feathers!
Jonathan's turkeys
Jason

~ Was this before or after the deer hunt with the perfect neck shot? Very creative!
~ Only Jason could decapitate a turkey like that!!
~ The gREAT wHITE hUNTER got this one!!!
~ I shovel for evil!
~ He just got back from a hunting trip? Must not have been a very productive trip. Oh well, someone has to
inform the children where Thanksgiving dinner comes from!
